Our neighbor in downtown Willoughby, the Homestead House Bed & Breakfast, asked us to come up with a new look and an easily updated website. Using WordPress and the Thesis framework, we are in the midst of creating the new site.

We designed their logo back in 2006.

Dr. Ivy Batos’ practice in Willoughby came to us for a new website reflecting their professional, friendly atmosphere. This new site contains plenty of information for current and potential patients.

We worked closely with Steve Hurshman of Hurshman Design Group to create the new logo as well.

NEOtropolis

the fusion channel

Western Reserve Public Media’s Fusion channel (WNEO.2/WEAO.2) focuses on arts, culture, public affairs and regional productions. I designed their new logo to have a family resemblance to their PBS channel logo. The graphic device suggests motion and fusion as two opposing objects come together in a shockwave. I also created their station ID animation, a collision of two objects in space resulting in an explosion and a shockwave to mimic the logo design.

Antarctica: 90° South – The Game

We scripted, designed, and programmed this game, which is a companion to a educational television program of the same name.

The students are given $100,000 to buy their supplies and a number of days (depending on the route they choose) to make the trip. If they run out of money or run out of days, their trip is ended. If they make bad choices (like indiscriminately killing penguins) or need something they didn’t choose to bring, their trip is ended.
