In It’s Close at Akron Art Museum, Close talks about his life and art. His friends, among them Linda Rosenkranz and her husband, Christopher Finch, talk about their relationship with the artist. Rosenkranz is the subject of “Linda,” Close’s 9-foot-tall painting permanently housed at the museum, while Finch is an artist and author of the book “Chuck Close: Work.”

Math nMotion tackles the very difficult concepts of Graphing Linear Equations, Inequalities, Ratio and Proportion and Using Data to Make Decisions through the use of racing Formula M cars.

the fusion channel

Western Reserve Public Media’s Fusion channel (WNEO.2/WEAO.2) focuses on arts, culture, public affairs and regional productions. I designed their new logo to have a family resemblance to their PBS channel logo. The graphic device suggests motion and fusion as two opposing objects come together in a shockwave. I also created their station ID animation, a collision of two objects in space resulting in an explosion and a shockwave to mimic the logo design.

Stark Contrast: A History of Stark County looks at the county’s communities, industrial development, educational and cultural institutions, sports, art, culture, transportation and more. It also follows two groups of residents representing the county’s older and younger generations.
